An installation done properly
The Starlink dish needs a completely clear view of the sky: we find the optimal spot using the alignment app and our knowledge of the local terrain (hills, pines, terraced land). Roof mounting with careful waterproofing, mast or façade options, UV-resistant cabling into the house, and earthing where needed.
We then configure the kit, disable the Starlink router's WiFi if a better indoor network is planned, and test the real-world speed with you.
Starlink + home WiFi: the winning combination
The router supplied by Starlink struggles in the stone houses typical of the hinterland. We pair the dish with a mesh network or wired access points so you get the satellite speed in every room, on the terrace and in the annexes. For gîtes and B&Bs we add a separate guest network.

How much does Starlink installation cost?
Full installation starts at €490: mounting, cabling, configuration and testing. The Starlink kit (dish + router) is purchased separately from Starlink; we can handle that for you. The residential subscription is around €40/month.
What speed can I expect?
Typically 100–250 Mbit/s download in this region, with 25–50 ms latency — plenty for video calls, 4K streaming and remote work. We measure the actual speed at the end of the installation.
Will the dish survive wind and storms?
Yes, if properly mounted: our fixings are rated for the region's gusts and we take great care with roof waterproofing. The dish itself handles rain and snow natively (automatic de-icing).
Can Starlink replace my internet box?
Yes, in poorly served areas it's often far better than ADSL. If fibre arrives later, the indoor network we install (WiFi, cabling) remains 100% reusable.
Do you install Starlink on boats?
